Visit Grand Teton National Park & More

When vacationing at Fireside Resort, there's never a shortage of things to do and see. Jackson Hole, Wilson and Teton County, Wyoming offer four seasons of activities and plenty of local attractions for you to enjoy. From visiting Grand Teton National Park and nearby Yellowstone Park to touring the Jackson Hole Elk Refuge and relaxing in Granite Hot Springs, there's so much available for nature lovers.

A 10-minute drive brings you to Jackson Hole Playhouse, which is known for Broadway theater entertainment and fine dining. Enjoy lunch or dinner at Saddle Rock Saloon served by a gun-slinging, singing waiter, and then watch an exciting show at the playhouse.

Meet Birds of Prey at Teton Raptor Center

Get up close and personal with birds of prey, such as great horned owls, golden eagles, and red-tailed hawks at Teton Raptor Center. This nonprofit organization consists of conservation biologists, veterinarians, wildlife rehabilitators, educators, and volunteers dedicated to helping birds of prey by promoting health through veterinary care and rehabilitation, educational programs, and conservation research. The center is located at the historic Hardeman Ranch, a Jackson Hole Land Trust-protected property just 2.7 miles from Fireside Resort.

Explore Grand Teton National Park

Extraordinary wildlife, pristine lakes, alpine terrain, and towering mountains await you at Grand Teton National Park. Our resort is located just under 6 miles from the south entrance, granting you quick and easy access to more than 200 miles of trails for hiking and biking, as well as numerous lakes for fishing.

Go Back in Time

Founded more than 50 years ago, the Jackson Hole Historical Society & Museum is where the Old West is still alive. Walk through exhibits that capture the spirit and culture of the early days of the Jackson Hole, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone region. This museum, located just 7.1 miles from our resort, features a collection of American Indian artifacts, fur trade era tools and firearms, and items from the ranching and pioneer settlement era.

Visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art

On a dramatic cliff overlooking the National Elk Refuge only 9.9 miles from our resort, you'll find the National Museum of Wildlife Art. This unique location allows visitors to view wildlife in their natural habitat alongside the artwork that pays tribute to it. The museum is home to a wide array of exhibitions from all styles of art, including the Sculpture Trail, which presents fine art within Jackson Hole's incomparable landscape, and the largest public collection of Carl Rungius' work in the country.

Connect with Nature

Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve is less than 10 miles from our resort, where you'll find a network of well-preserved trails just waiting to be explored. Walk to Phelps Lake through mature forests and aspen groves, and view all the abundant wildlife that call this area home. The Preserve is open from late May through September.

Relax at Granite Hot Springs

Soothe and heal those tired muscles with a relaxing soak in Granite Hot Springs, located an hour from Fireside Resort. Divided between a man-made swimming pool and natural hot springs bath, this spot is great for children and adults. It is open in the summer and winter and only costs $4 for children and $6 for adults.
